WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?Mindfulness is defined as moment-to-moment non-judgmental awareness. It consists of bringing a natural and clear attention to whatever is occurring in the present moment. It also encourages a loving, kind approach to each moment. Practicing mindfulness allows us to choose how we want to relate to our present life circumstances. Learning mindfulness helps us to respond effectively rather than staying stuck in emotional reactivity, encouraging a still and peaceful mind.
